Pump Cleaning Instructions:

To maintain optimal performance, cleaning the pump is simple:

1. Remove and clean the pump sponge.
2. Take off the pump cover.
3. Carefully remove the impeller cap using your fingernail.
4. Use tweezers to extract the impeller, then clean it with the brush.
5. Use the brush to clean the remaining parts of the pump.

For the health of your pets, especially during the summer, we highly recommend increasing your cleaning frequency. Aim to clean the fountain and pump at least once a week, and be sure to replace the filter every 12 days under normal conditions. If you have multiple pets or if your animals enjoy splashing around, adjust your filter replacement timing accordingly.
